Ozone Falls is a wonderful 110 foot tall waterfall located just inside Cumberland County, Tennessee. The hike to the top of the waterfall is about as easy and short as they come. You can walk right up to and get in the stream at the top of the falls and take your kayak over the top of the falls into the pool at the bottom. It's been done before! The hike to the bottom of the falls is short but a little on the rough side. Youth is your friend when hiking to the bottom. Be sure to visit this falls near a rain event (within a few days should suffice) and you won't be disappointed.
At the top and bottom of the falls you will find plenty of trees to hang your hammock. The waterfall is not typically crawling with people but regular visitors cycle in and out at a regular pace. A lot of people choose to swim in the pool at the bottom of the falls when the water is up. Be sure to get as many different angles of the waterfall as you can. The sun always leaves a shadow and mornings may be the best time to catch the falls with it all in the shadow.
