The Flipside Sport 10L AW is backpack built to carry camera gear. The pack is small, lightweight, and features a pull out rain cover. It has a padded interior with movable dividers so you can organize your gear. Featuring a pocket for a water bag/water bottle and loops and straps for a small tripod makes this one of the better day hiking packs for photographers out there. The other advantage to this pack is it fits close to your back because of its small size. This keeps the center of gravity as close to your body as possible.
Vented back pads and shoulder straps help keep your back cool on hot summer days or during strenuous hikes. The back pads also keep your gear from poking you in the back and that is always a plus.
The only real down side to this pack is the lack of pockets but that is the tradeoff when you go with a pack this size. This isn’t meant to pack everything and the kitchen sink. It is meant to take only what you need so you can enjoy the days adventure without thinking about what you are carrying. If you want to transport your mirrorless system around, I would not hesitate to purchase this back. You will have room for one camera with lens and two more 85mm or smaller primes, batteries, and the Lee filter System. I generally carry two lenses, one on camera that I plan to use and one spare just in case I need a longer focal length.
